Our volunteers are quite simply the lifeblood of Linden Hall. Without our team of enthusiastic helpers, we certainly wouldn’t be able to sustain our service, and our members would miss their valuable contribution to the Lindener’s social activities.
There are so many different reasons to volunteer, and everyone has their own reasons. However, here are some of the main benefits:
- Learn new skills
- Do something great for the local community
- Make new friends
- Increase confidence
- Feel that you’re making a unique contribution to our service
We are currently looking to recruit volunteers for the following roles:
Lindener’s Social Club Volunteers – If you can donate your time on either or all days our social club runs, we would love to hear from you. We are looking for volunteers to help run our Lindener’s Social Club on Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays between 9.30am till 2.30pm, even if it is just for a few hours. Along with our Coordinator you would help assist in sociolising with our members and helping to serve them a two-course meal and teas and coffees as well as enriching their lives.
Dean Road outreach Volunteers – Our outreach program to Dean Road is important to its residence. We need volunteers to help assist our coordinator between 9.30am and 2.30pm on a Wednesday every week. If you can donate your time, we would love to hear from you.
